David Shuckman, on a boat. ‘Due to climate change, icebergs are now very rare in this part of Gloucestershire’
Bizarre reports are leaking from Broadcasting House on Senior Presenters’ Troubling Behaviour.
In the ‘hot-house’ that is the 21st Century BBC, a number of familiar faces are becoming ever-more focused on their work.
- Science and environment guru David Shuckman is often seen walking through the office carrying an inflatable dinghy on his head – similar to those used when filming collapsing icebergs at the poles. ‘You never know where climate change will strike next, do you?’ Shuckman is reported to say. He has a number of similar craft – fully inflated and fuelled – at his home
- Former Political Editor Nick Robinson is said to have constructed a full-scale replica of the front of 10 Downing Street in his back garden – in order to perfect his pieces to camera. Neighbours say this often goes on ‘for days at a time, non-stop’ – even when more important things are happening at the real Downing Street. Reports that he has a corn doll in the image of Laura Kuenssberg in his shed are unconfirmed
- Of most concern, however, is the behaviour of 127-year old Sir David Attenborough – who has developed an all-consuming obsession with bat droppings. ‘Everyone loved it when I went into that cave. There are over 300 types of bat guano you know – and I’ve seen all of them’.
